Editor’s Talk

Dear all readers.    

    Amid a global landscape characterized by geopolitical realignments, supply chain restructuring, accelerating digital transformation, and heightened expectations for corporate social responsibility, business organizations must enhance their strategic adaptability while advancing innovation, strengthening corporate governance, and promoting sustainable management practices.

   This issue features four research articles in English that collectively address critical themes in the development of Thai businesses, including digital capabilities, social responsibility in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the quality of governance and financial reporting. The first article examines business adaptation strategies within the PESTLE framework—political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental dimensions—drawing upon in-depth interviews with executives from the manufacturing, logistics, and technology sectors. The second article investigates the impact of big data analytics capability on supply chain innovation and competitive advantage in Thailand’s restaurant industry. The third article explores the drivers of socially responsible management in Thai SMEs, using evidence from employment practices and applying the Theory of Planned Behavior. The fourth article analyzes the effect of internal control quality on financial statement quality, emphasizing the mediating role of financial reporting reliability. The study adopts the framework developed by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission, which conceptualizes internal control across five dimensions: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring, in order to capture the structural complexity of its influence.

      Collectively, these contributions reflect contemporary directions in business and management scholarship, highlighting the importance of strategic adaptability, data- and technology-driven decision-making, social responsibility, and robust governance. The editorial team sincerely hopes that this issue will serve as a valuable academic resource and contribute to the continued advancement of organizational capabilities in addressing future challenges with resilience and sustainability.

สวัสดีผู้อ่านทุกท่านค่ะ
         
       ท่ามกลางบริบทโลกที่เผชิญการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ การปรับโครงสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทาน การเร่งตัวของเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และความคาดหวังด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น องค์กรธุรกิจจำเป็นต้องเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการปรับตัวเชิงกลยุทธ์ ควบคู่กับการพัฒนานวัตกรรม การกำกับดูแลกิจการที่ดี และการบริหารจัดการอย่างยั่งยืน

       วารสารฉบับนี้นำเสนอบทความวิจัยภาษาอังกฤษจำนวน 4 เรื่อง ซึ่งสะท้อนประเด็นสำคัญด้านการปรับตัวของธุรกิจไทย ความสามารถเชิงดิจิทัล ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม ตลอดจนคุณภาพการกำกับดูแลและการรายงานทางการเงิน กล่าวคือ บทความแรกวิเคราะห์กลยุทธ์การปรับตัวของภาคธุรกิจภายใต้กรอบปัจจัย PESTLE โดยอาศัยข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้บริหาร ในภาคการผลิต โลจิสติกส์ และเทคโนโลยี บทความที่สองศึกษาผลของความสามารถในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ต่อนวัตกรรมห่วงโซ่อุปทานและความได้เปรียบทางการแข่งขันในอุตสาหกรรมร้านอาหารของประเทศไทย บทความที่สามวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนการจัดการอย่างมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมของไทย โดยอ้างอิงทฤษฎีพฤติกรรมตามแผนจากหลักฐานด้านการปฏิบัติแรงงาน และบทความที่สี่ศึกษาผลของคุณภาพการควบคุมภายในต่อคุณภาพงบการเงิน โดยเน้นบทบาทเชิงส่งผ่านของความเชื่อถือได้ในการรายงานข้อมูลทางการเงิน ภายใต้กรอบแนวคิดของ Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission ซึ่งจำแนกองค์ประกอบของการควบคุมภายในออกเป็นห้ามิติ ได้แก่ บรรยากาศการควบคุม การประเมินความเสี่ยง กิจกรรมการควบคุม สารสนเทศและการสื่อสาร และการติดตามประเมินผล เพื่อสะท้อนอิทธิพลเชิงโครงสร้างอย่างรอบด้าน

       บทความทั้งสี่เรื่องสะท้อนทิศทางการบริหารธุรกิจยุคใหม่ที่มุ่งเน้นการปรับตัวเชิงกลยุทธ์ การใช้ประโยชน์จากข้อมูลและเทคโนโลยี ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และความเข้มแข็งด้านธรรมาภิบาล กองบรรณาธิการหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าวารสารฉบับนี้จะเป็นแหล่งความรู้ที่ทรงคุณค่า และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และศักยภาพขององค์กร เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายในอนาคตอย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืน
